JAIPUR VIDYUT VITRAN NIGAM LIMITED (Jaipur Discom) is engaged in the business of distribution and supply of electricity in 12 districts of Rajasthan, namely Jaipur, Dausa, Alwar, Bharatpur, Dholpur, Kota, Bundi, Baran, Jhalawar, Sawaimadhopur, Tonk and Karoli.Applications are invited from qualified candidates for the post of Junior Engineer - First (Electrical / Civil / IT) : Total Vacant Post: 116 (Electrical), 5 (Civil), 2 (I.T.)
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor degree in Electrical / Civil / I.T. recognized or A.M.I.E. degree from any Indian instutin / university duly recognized and established by law in India or an equivalent degree in Electrical / Civil / I.T. Engineering granted by any foreign university / institution recognized by law in India.
- Minimum : 60% marks in Electrical / Civil / I.T. engineering degree or 55% (aggregate) in AMIE degree. (For SC/ST/Handicapped categories, relaxation for the of 10% marks in the minimum qualifying %age marks. for OBC the relaxation will be of 5% marks.
Also there would be a 5% relaxation in minmum qualifying percentage marks for AMIE degree holder SC/ST/Handicapped and OBC
Age: 21 years to 35 years as on 25-06-2009
Salary: Rs. 9300-34800 (Grade Pay Rs. 3200). For probation training period for 1st two years during which Rs. 10, 000/- fixed remuneration will be paid.
