Requirement of Research Assistant (RA1) are available in the following projects.
- Chemical Engineering :P(02-1) Thin Film Composite Membranes for RO: synthesis, structure & property
RA1: (2 Post)
Eligibility : M.Tech./M.E. in Chem. Engg or equivalent with minimum first class in the qualifying exam.
B.Tech/BE degree holders as well as MSc (organic or polymer chemistry) with outstanding academic records will be considered. Previous experience with membrane synthesis/characterization or polymer synthesis/characterization is desirable.
Salary : Consolidated salary Rs.17500/- p.m. + HRA
Job Profile : Research/developmental studies on membrane materials for RO applications. Fundamental studies, including modelling, to understand the effect of preparation conditions on membrane structure and properties are involved. It is expected that the work will lead to a PhD.
The positions are temporary initially for a period of one year and tenable only for the duration of project.
